Who prepares the guides
The Knowledge Hub is prepared and published by Moonlite Framing & Contracting Inc. for homeowners, builders and project teams considering framing work. The byline names the company editorial team. The site does not invent a named author, engineering designation, trade certificate or independent technical reviewer.
What the guides are for
Articles explain common framing concepts, project coordination and how to find relevant official resources. They are general educational information. They do not replace the current BC Building Code, municipal permit conditions, approved drawings, engineering, legal advice or a qualified professional's assessment of a particular property.
Sources and claims
Where regulatory details matter, the guides link to official City of Surrey, Province of British Columbia and Statistics Canada pages. Competitor pages may inform broad navigation research only; their marketing claims, reviews, project stories and images are not presented as Moonlite's. We do not publish unsupported pricing, credentials, review counts, project locations or service guarantees.
Commercial relationship
Moonlite is a framing and contracting business. The resource pages are part of its company website and may link to estimate or contact pages. That relationship is disclosed here; the guides are not independent journalism. We keep informational content visibly separate from service and estimate actions.
Dates and corrections
“Source review” dates indicate when a guide's linked materials were checked. A review date is not a claim that the City or Province published a change that day. We do not update dates just to make an unchanged article appear new. If a material error is found, the company should correct the relevant text, record the substantive update and adjust the article's modified date. First-publication dates should be added only when the website is actually published.
How to report a concern
Send a correction request to framingmoonlite@gmail.com with the page address, the statement in question and the supporting source. For a project or code decision, contact the City, your design professional or the authority responsible for the permit.
